This interactive feedback loop facilitates effective memorization of the fretboard, making the learning process both engaging and pedagogically sound. The tool supports real-time assessment and progress tracking, enhancing skill development in an intuitive manner.

Free features include the ability to listen for notes played on a real guitar through microphone input, prompts for the first string, and options for natural or accidental note prompts—displaying accidentals as sharp, flat, or dynamically selected. The application also monitors progress across individual notes.

Upgraded features extend functionality by unlocking access to all strings and frets, providing a comprehensive practice experience.

Learn Frets is optimized for use with a 6-string acoustic guitar and requires microphone access for real-time note recognition. Proper microphone placement is essential to ensure accurate performance evaluation.
